Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CheapQRCode (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Service.

The Service is owned and operated by Flowork Engineers S.A., Costa Rica.

2. Description of the Service

CheapQRCode provides tools that allow users to:

  • Create Static QR Codes

  • Create Dynamic QR Codes

  • Store and manage QR Code collections

  • Track scan activity for Dynamic QR Codes

  • Access related QR Code management features

CheapQRCode is a technology platform only.

We do not review, approve, endorse, or guarantee the content linked to or contained within QR Codes created by users.

3. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

  • All QR Codes you create.

  • All content linked through your QR Codes.

  • All files, websites, messages, contact information, and other data stored within your QR Codes.

  • Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

You represent and warrant that your use of the Service is lawful.

4. User Responsibility for QR Code Content

CheapQRCode does not monitor or pre-approve the content linked through user-created QR Codes. Users are solely responsible for the destinations, files, websites, products, services, and information accessed through their QR Codes.

Flowork Engineers S.A. is not responsible for any content, transactions, communications, products, services, or activities conducted through QR Codes created by users.

5. Subscription Billing, Upgrades, Downgrades, and Cancellations

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance for each thirty (30) day billing period according to the pricing published on CheapQRCode.

By purchasing a subscription, you authorize recurring billing until the subscription is canceled.

5.1Upgrades

You may upgrade your subscription at any time.

When an upgrade is requested:

  • The upgraded service level becomes available immediately.

  • The current billing period remains unchanged.

  • Billing for the upgraded plan will begin on the next renewal date.

  • No refund or credit will be issued for the current billing period.

5.2 Downgrades

You may request a downgrade at any time.

When a downgrade is requested:

  • The current service level will remain active until the end of the current billing period.

  • The downgraded plan will become effective on the next renewal date.

  • If the new plan includes lower Dynamic QR Code storage limits, some QR Codes may become deactivated when the downgrade takes effect.

  • Deactivated QR Codes are not deleted and may be restored by upgrading to a plan that supports the required storage level.

5.3 Cancellations

You may cancel your subscription at any time.

When a subscription is canceled:

  • No future renewal charges will be made.

  • Previously paid fees are non-refundable.

  • Your subscription benefits will remain active until the end of the current billing period.

  • At the end of the billing period, your account may be moved to a lower plan or free plan, subject to the limits of that plan.

5.4 No Refunds

Except where required by applicable law, all subscription fees are non-refundable.

No refunds, credits, or partial reimbursements will be provided for:

  • Early cancellations

  • Unused services

  • Downgrades

  • Partial billing periods

  • Changes in subscription plans

6. Prohibited Uses

You may not use CheapQRCode for any unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or abusive purpose.

Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Drug sales or distribution

  • Illegal products or services

  • Fraud or scams

  • Phishing

  • Malware distribution

  • Hacking activities

  • Copyright infringement

  • Distribution of stolen information

  • Harassment or threats

  • Terrorist or extremist activities

  • Child exploitation material

  • Any activity prohibited by applicable law

Any account involved in prohibited activities may be suspended or terminated immediately without notice.

7. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of the content you create and store through the Service.

By using CheapQRCode, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display such content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

8. Dynamic QR Code Availability

Dynamic QR Codes are subject to the storage limits of your subscription plan.
If your account exceeds the Dynamic QR Code storage limit:

  • Excess Dynamic QR Codes will become deactivated.

  • Deactivated QR Codes will stop functioning.

  • Deactivated QR Codes are not automatically deleted.

  • Access may be restored by upgrading to a plan that supports the required storage level.

9. Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts that:

  • Violate these Terms.

  • Abuse the Service.

  • Create security risks.

  • Engage in fraudulent or illegal activities.

We may remove or disable QR Codes when required by law or when necessary to protect the Service or its users.

10. Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate with third-party providers, including:

  • PayPal

  • Dropbox

  • Cloud hosting providers

  • Analytics providers

We are not responsible for the operation, availability, security, or policies of third-party services.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis.

CheapQRCode makes no warranties regarding:

  • Continuous availability

  • Error-free operation

  • Accuracy of analytics

  • Fitness for a particular purpose

  • Uninterrupted access

Use of the Service is at your own risk.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Flowork Engineers S.A., its officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for:

  • User-generated content

  • Illegal activities conducted by users

  • Products or services promoted through QR Codes

  • Loss of revenue

  • Loss of business opportunities

  • Data loss

  • Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you to CheapQRCode during the previous twelve (12) months.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Flowork Engineers S.A. from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and legal expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Service.

  • Your QR Code content.

  • Your violation of these Terms.

  • Your violation of applicable laws.

  • Any claim arising from websites, products, services, or content linked through your QR Codes.

14. Changes to the Service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without liability.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Costa Rica.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Costa Rica.
