File QR Code Generator Demo

Why does CheapQRcode offer a File QR Code if a Website QR Code can already open a file?

If you’ve already seen our Website QR Code Demo, you may be wondering why we also offer a File QR Code.

Here is the answer:

A Website QR Code can open any public URL, including the URL of a PDF, image, document, or other file. If your file is already hosted online and you have a public URL, a Website QR Code is all you need.
However, many users don’t have a place to host their files or don’t want to upload them to a third-party service before creating a QR Code.

That’s where the File QR Code becomes useful. Instead of asking for a file URL, CheapQRcode asks for the file itself. We securely upload and store it for you, generate a public URL behind the scenes, and automatically use that URL to create your QR Code.

In other words:
Website QR Code :  You provide the public URL.
File QR Code : You provide the file, and CheapQRcode handles the hosting and URL generation for you.

Both QR Codes ultimately work the same way: they open a public URL. The difference is simply who provides that URL—you or CheapQRcode.
